Suresh Ramu
Co-founder & CEO, Cytecare Hospitals
Suresh Ramu is the Co-founder & CEO of Cytecare Hospitals, a
comprehensive cancer care hospital network. The first 150-bed
organ-site focused cancer hospital that went live in November
2016 in Yelahanka, Bangalore. Ramu is an alumnus of IIT- Madras and IIM- Calcutta
and he started his entrepreneurial journey from 2011. He is also a Co-founder of
Cytespace Research, a clinical research solutions organization. Ramu began his
career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, then was with a startup
telemedicine company and then with Quintiles Translational
for about 10 years.
Dr. Komal D Chippalkatti
Consultant & Head-Histopathology & Laboratory Medicine
Dr. Komal D Chippalkatti is a highly experienced Consultant and Head of
Histopathology & Laboratory Medicine, with over 13 years of expertise in
oncopathology. Trained at renowned institutions including Kidwai Institute of
Oncology, she specializes in hematolymphoid malignancies, breast pathology,
thyroid cancers, and female genital tract pathology. Dr. Komal is known for her
meticulous diagnostic approach, contributing significantly to accurate cancer
diagnosis and patient care.
Dr. Rupali Vardhan
Associate Consultant in Pathology
Dr Rupali has expertise in oncopathology and hematology. She has a special focus on
cancers of the female genital tract, breast pathology, leukemias and lymphomas.
With dedicated training in Tumor Pathology from Cytecare Hospital, Bengaluru and
active participation in national conferences, Dr. Rupali combines her clinical
knowledge with a commitment to precise diagnosis and patient care.
Dr. Swarna Kamala S
Fellowship In Oncopathology
Dr Swarna Kamala S, comes with an experience of 6 years. Her core interest lies in
Tumour pathology and she is currently pursuing fellowship in oncopathology. Her
previous association was with Bangalore Baptist hospital. Her special interest lies in
tumour pathology of soft tissue, lung and salivary gland.
Dr. Sruthi Meghana
Blood Bank Officer
Dr. Sruthi Meghana, has completed her MD Pathology from JNMC, Belagavi.
She is passionate about Haematology and Cytopathology. She is a part of Bone
marrow transplant team. She is principal investigator in research studies pertaining
to CAR-NK cells, NK cells for treatment of early-stage colon cancer & effects of
immune check point inhibitors on T-cell functions.
Dr M Nirmitha Dev
Consultant Biochemist
Dr.M Nirmitha Dev with experience of 17 years, completed MBBS from Sree siddartha Medical
college, Tumkur,Karnataka and post graduation in MD (Biochemistry) from M S Ramaiah Medical college Bangalore, Karnataka. After post graduation was associated with M S Ramaiah Medical college, Bangalore for 13years.She is passionate in research and worked on preeclampsia and several endocrinal disorders like obesity, hypothyroidism,etc. Presently working as consultant biochemist at Cytecare.
Events CSR
Cytelabs conducts an annual DIY IHC workshop for post graduate students at various medical colleges. This is a unique workshop wherein the students get to perform as well as select the IHC markers for a given case, simulating a real life diagnostic scenario. The idea is to make them them understand the diagnostic approach to IHC.
